This research aims to determine and analyze the implications of monitoring fuel oil distribution in the context of the effectiveness of public services. The approach method in this research is the statutory regulation approach. The results of the research show that it is based on the rules which are the benchmark or reference for the department in supervising the distribution of fuel. Supervision is carried out on fuel distribution to see irregularities that occur in the field that could disrupt the welfare of the community. The standards provided by these regulations are regarding the distribution of fuel oil carried out by business entities that have permits from district/city and even provincial governments. The My Pertamina application is a form of indirect supervision of the distribution of fuel oil. Indirect supervision is when supervisory officers/organization leaders carry out inspections of work implementation only through reports submitted to them. Supervision of fuel oil distribution has implications for several aspects, namely the community, Pertamina and the government. The implication of monitoring the distribution of fuel oil to the community is that it can determine the success of aspects of the accuracy of program targets, especially the targets of the fuel subsidy program. The implication of monitoring fuel distribution for Pertamina is that Pertamina is able to overcome the urgency of fuel shortages and if fuel shortages actually occur then supervision will be intensified. The implication of monitoring fuel distribution for the government is that it is an effort to form regulations and follow up on the implementation of fuel distribution.
