Fundamental characteristics of the mining industry are clearing land and changing the landscape so that it has the potential to change the ecosystem structure of an area in terms of biology, geology and physics. The existence of the coal mining industry can have an impact on environmental damage, both in terms of local microclimate and soil. Climatic damage occurs due to the loss of vegetation, thereby eliminating the function of forests as water regulators, erosion controls, floods, carbon absorbers, oxygen suppliers and temperature regulators. This research was carried out in the FABA (fly ash and bottom ash) landfill of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk by observing changes in the microenvironment consisting of humidity, temperature, light intensity and soil pH and their effect on the growth of mahogany plants with an estimated research time of three weeks. The method used in this research for sampling used the random sampling methode by determining the number of samples taken using the slovin formula and determining 27 random sampling numbers using a random number generator which was processed via the stat trek system website. Then the data results are analyzed in microsoft Excel and presented in boxplot, scatter plot and others as well as the PCA (Principal Component Analysis) analysis method using XLSTAT then continued with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results showed that changes in temperature, humidity, light intensity and soil pH experienced unstable fluctuations during the 15 days of the study. The stem diameter and height of mahogany plants from the first week to the third week did not show significant changes. The influence of changes in the microenvironment in the FABA landfill did not have a significant effect on the growth of mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni). Variable temperature (07.30-08.30 WIB) (X1) with a significance value of 0.914, temperature (10.30-11.30 WIB) (X2) with a significance value of 0.812, humidity (07.30-08.30 WIB) (X3) with a significance value of 0.237, humidity (10.30-11.30 WIB) (X4) with a significance value of 0.335 and stem diameter (X5) with a significance value of 0.172 . This shows that there is not a single variable that influences plant height because the significance value is greater than 0.05.
