The objectives of this study are (1) To analize the perceptions of people who work as farmers towards the conversion of agricultural land into settlements. (2) To analize the factors that influence farmers' decisions to convert agricultural land into settlements. (3) To analize the impact that occurs for farmers after carrying out activities to convert agricultural land into settlements. This research was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, Ogan Ilir Regency in November 2023. The research method used was a survey method and simple random sampling method.. The results of this study were (1) Farmers' perceptions of the occurrence of land conversion activities Ilir classified as a low category, from variables that affect and the level of perception of social, economic and environmental farmers. (2) The results of the analysis of the factors that influence farmers to choose to convert their agricultural land are explained using logistic regression tools. The objectives of this study are (1) To analize the perceptions of people who work as farmers towards the conversion of agricultural land into settlements. (3) To analize the impact that occurs for farmers after carrying out activities to convert agricultural land into settlements in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, Ogan Ilir Regency in November 2023. The research method used was a survey method and simple random sampling method in research collection while in data analysis using a Likert scale to measure the level of perception of farmers and using logistic regression. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study were (1) Farmers' perceptions of the occurrence of land conversion activities Ilir classified as a low category, from variables that affect and the level of perception of social, economic and environmental farmers. (2) The results of the analysis of the factors that influence farmers to choose to convert their agricultural land are explained using logistic regression tools with Y explaining the farmer's decision "Choosing to convert land" and "Not converting land" and the most influential factor in the farmer's decision to choose to convert their land is the variable land area with a significance level of 0.041
