The farmer corporation is a program that focuses on improving the economic institutional role of farmers formed by, for, and of the farmers themselves. There are still few farmer corporations established in South Sumatera due to the lack of interest and knowledge about the significant role of farmer corporations. The objectives of this research are: 1) to measure and explain the role of the farmer corporation PT Telang Agro Mandiri in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, 2) to describe the benefits obtained by farmer members of the farmer corporation at PT Telang Agro Mandiri, 3) to analyze the differences in benefits obtained by farmer members of the farmer corporation PT Telang Agro Mandiri. This research was conducted from October until completion in the working area of the farmer corporation PT Telang Agro Mandiri in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The research method used was a survey method using a questionnaire. The sample selection used an unbalanced stratified random sampling method. The data processing method used qualitative data analyzed descriptively. Meanwhile, quantitative data analysis was conducted using the Likert scale and Independent t-test. The results of the research indicate that: 1) The role of the farmer corporation PT Telang Agro Mandiri is categorized as high in providing significant roles in serving member farmers, with the highest indicator being the role of the corporation as a provider of facilities and infrastructure, 2) Farmer members of the farmer corporation PT Telang Agro Mandiri have perceived benefits from supply services of agricultural inputs, machinery supply, cultivation guidance, controlled selling prices to the increased sales, 3) Based on all of variables that had been analized, only total of the fertilizer purchases did not have a significant difference between farmer members and non farmer members.
