School accreditation determines the school's environmental sanitation facilities. Poor environmental sanitation can cause various health problems such as diarrhea in students. Environmental sanitation at the junior high school level needs to be paid attention to considering that at this level there is still a lack of implementation of good environmental sanitation. SMPN 2 Buay Madang Timur is one of the schools that requires attention to sanitation of the school environment. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the sanitation of the school environment at SMPN 2 Buay Madang Timur, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The research design uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants were determined using the purposive sampling method as many as 8 people, namely the school principal, school hygiene teacher, school treasurer, sanitation facilities teacher and active school students. Data collection uses in-depth interviews, observation sheets, documentation, lux meters and sound level meters. The results of the research show that the building construction has some damage to the roof, ceiling and walls, lighting in each room is more than 60 lux, noise in several classrooms is more than 55 db(A), ventilation is as needed, clean water is available during 24 hours and the water source is from a drilled well, the toilets at the school are not as needed and are damaged, SPAL does not have a special and open place, waste disposal facilities do not have covers and waste collection places are in open areas, hand washing facilities are not equipped with soap and vectors are not available. at school. The conclusion of this research is that school environmental sanitation facilities are still not up to the mark and there is damage to several sanitation facilities.
