ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN PENEMPATAN TENAGA KERJA MELALUI PROGRAM JOB FAIR YANG DISELENGGARAKAN OLEH DINAS TENAGA KERJA DAN TRANSMIGRASI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This study analyzes the labor placement policy through the Job Fair program by the South Sumatra Department of Manpower using William N. Dunn’s policy analysis theory. The research aims to evaluate the program’s effectiveness and identify challenges in its implementation. A qualitative approach was used with interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings indicate that while the Job Fair connects job seekers with companies, its effectiveness remains limited. Challenges include skill mismatches, lack of selection transparency, and suboptimal coordination. According to Dunn’s policy analysis, problem structuring is appropriate, but forecasting and recommendations need improvement. The study recommends better socialization, stronger corporatecollaboration, and technology optimization in recruitment. With proper evaluation and policy adjustments, the Job Fair can better reduce unemployment and improve labor placement in South Sumatra.
