ANALISIS KONDISI FISIK ATLET SEPAK TAKRAW PUTRA SUMATERA SELATAN PERSIAPAN PON XXI ACEH-SUMUT TAHUN 2024

The aim of this research is to determine the results of the physical condition of South Sumatra men's sepak takraw athletes in preparation for the XXI Aceh-North Sumatra PON in 2024. This research uses descriptive quantitative analysis. This research instrument uses test and measurement techniques when carrying out athletes' physical conditions, namely strength, speed, agility, endurance and flexibility. The sample in this study was South Sumatra men's sepak takraw athletes who took part in XXI Aceh-North Sumatra PON, totaling 4 people. This research uses secondary data taken from the Indonesian National Sports Committee, South Sumatra. The results of the first physical condition test and the results of the second physical condition test have increased. In the strength component (Strength) push ups there was an increase of 15%, in the strength component (Strength) sit ups there was no increase or decrease, in the speed component there was an increase of 10%, in the agility component (Shuttle run) there was an increase of 11%, in the endurance component (vo2max) there was an increase of 1%, and in the flexibility component (Flexibility) there was an increase of 15%. Based on the results and discussion of the physical condition test of South Sumatra men's sepak takraw athletes preparing for the 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra PON, the components of the physical condition test include strength, speed, agility and endurance. , and flexibility. In the first physical condition test results it was in the moderate category and in the second physical condition test results it was in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that the results of the first and second physical condition tests for male sepak takraw athletes from South Sumatra in preparation for the XXI Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week 2024 are in the medium category.
