MODEL UNCERTAIN MAXIMAL COVERING LOCATION PROBLEM PADA PERBAIKAN PEMETAAN LOKASI TEMPAT PENAMPUNGAN SEMENTARA SAMPAH DI KECAMATAN SUKARAMI KOTA PALEMBANG
The increasing population in Palembang City has resulted in an increasing amount of waste. In overcoming the amount of waste in Palembang City, Environmental and Cleanliness Department Palembang City provides temporary waste disposal sites (TWDS) that must be owned in each location. This research aims to optimize the location of TWDS in the Sukarami sub-district, Palembang City by formulating the Covering Based Problem (CBP) model, namely the Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP), Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP), and p-Center Location Problem, as well as the Uncertain Maximal Covering Problem (UMCLP) using the help of LINGO 13.0 software. The CBP model obtained optimal results, namely each village has 1 optimal location for waste stations, but there are several locations of TWDS that do not match the demand point. While the UMCLP model obtained 32 optimal TWDS. So this research recommends the UMCLP model as the optimal solution for the location of TWDS in Sukarami sub-district, Palembang City.
