KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII PADA MATERI POLA BILANGAN MENGGUNAKAN E-LKPD
This research is a descriptive quantitative-qualitative research that aims to describe the mathematical representation ability of eighth-grade students in learning number pattern using student live worksheet. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII.2 at SMP Negeri 13 OKU with the number of subjects interviewed were 6 students. The research was conducted through a written test with three test items on number pattern material with indicators of mathematical representation skill and semi-structured interviews. Mathematical representation ability was analyzed through the number pattern material test questions given after the implementation of student live worksheet assisted learning activities. Data analysis techniques used were analyzing test results, analyzing interview results, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that learning using the student live worksheet has successfully facilitated the mathematical representation abilities of the students of class VIII.2 at SMP Negeri 13 OKU in the topic of number patterns. Furthermore, it was observed that the students of class VIII.2 at SMP Negeri 13 OKU demonstrated a medium-level of mathematical representation ability in solving test questions on the number patterns topic. The most frequently appearing indicator was the visual indicator, followed by the symbolic indicator. Meanwhile, the least appearing indicator was the verbal indicator.
