ANALISIS DRAINASE FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA KAMPUS PALEMBANG
Drainage is a channel or water flow system that can be located on the surface or below the surface, which can form naturally or be constructed by humans. This research is located at the Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University Campus. Flooding at the Sriwijaya University Faculty of Engineering campus in Palembang has occurred frequently. This is caused by considerable rainfall, which floods several areas such as parking lots and buildings in the Faculty of Engineering. The purpose of this drainage analysis is to improve the drainage system capacity and stormwater management at the Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University Campus in Palembang. This study uses primary data on the existing field dimensions and catchment area obtained through field surveys, as well as secondary data from the Palembang BMKG, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Meteorological Station, South Sumatra. This study employs hydrological and hydraulic analysis. The hydrological analysis involves calculating the probability distribution and design discharge. Meanwhile, the hydraulic analysis involves calculating the capacity of the existing channel discharge and recalculating the dimensions. As a final result, one channel, such as Primary Channel 2, has a design discharge for a 10-year return period of 0.1186 m³/s, with a design discharge capacity for a 10-year period of 0.0887 m³/s. The results show that the channels cannot accommodate the design discharge, including Primary Channel 2, Primary Channel 3, and Primary Channel 5
