KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN PESERTA DIDIK DITINJAU DARI MINAT BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN LKPD DIGITAL
This study is motivated by the low reasoning ability of students, which is caused by a lack of innovative learning tools that focus on enhancing reasoning skills. Low reasoning ability is also closely related to the level of learning interest. One aspect that can support students' reasoning skills and learning interest is the use of digital worksheets (LKPD). Based on this background, the study aims to describe the reasoning ability of eighth-grade students on the Pythagorean theorem material, based on their interest in learning mathematics after the implementation of learning assisted by digital LKPD. The learning model used in this research is problem-based learning. This study employs a descriptive approach with the research subjects being students of class VIII.5 at SMP Negeri 2 Muara Enim. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and semi-structured interviews. The results show that students' interest in learning mathematics aligns with their reasoning ability. Students with high learning interest exhibit high reasoning ability, meeting all indicators of reasoning skills. Students with moderate learning interest demonstrate moderate reasoning ability, fulfilling three out of four indicators. Meanwhile, students with low learning interest have low reasoning ability, achieving only a small portion of the reasoning skill indicators.
