This research is entitled ‘The Existence of Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Amjaiyah in the sub district of Tanjung Batu, regency of Ogan Ilir in 1957-2022’. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of madrasah diniyah Amjaiyah Islamic Boarding School in the District of Tanjung Batu, in Ogan Ilir in the years 1957-2022. This research was also conducted to find out the development of madrasah diniyah Amjaiyah Islamic Boarding School in the sub-district of Tanjung Batu, Ogan Ilir in 1957-2022. The method used in this research is the historical method with historical research steps such as heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography through the approach of sociology and anthropology. The result of this study shows that Madrasah Diniyah of Amjaiyah Islamic Boarding School has made many efforts and attempts such as developing the quality of teaching and learning and participating in various competitions to develop students' talents in maintaining its existence.
