The objectives of this study were (1) the Peat Care Independent Village Program (DMPG) is a program under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). Air Gading Village is one of the villages that received assistance from the program, the program has been running for 9 months since the start of the program in November 2023, where in the village there is 1 farmer group that participates in the program which consists of 10 people and each is given assistance with 1 cow which in this program focuses on fattening cows. (2) The contribution of the program is 20,38 percent. (3) factors that have a real effect on the increase in farmers' income are capital, land area and while labor (4) there are differences in farmers' behavior in managing peatlands before and after the program is implemented, namely Based on the results of pair 1 and 2 outputs in the paired t-test results, a significance value (2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained.
