The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze the factors that influence the magnitude of the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil carried out by farmers in Guci Village, Ujan Mas District, Muara Enim Regency and 2) to analyze the social impacts, economic impacts and environmental impacts arising from the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil in Guci Village, Ujan Mas District, Muara Enim Regency. The research was conducted in March-May in Guci Village, Ujan Mas District, Muara Enim Regency. The sampling method used in this study was the purposive method with a sample of 30 farmers who made the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil. The data collection method is with primary data. The results of this study are 1) the transition of rubber commodities to palm oil at the research location took place around 2019 until now, the pattern of land ownership and control on the individual side. Internal factors or these factors look more at the side caused by the socio-economic conditions of the farmer's agricultural household playing an important role in the process of rubber land transition, while internal factors that cause the transition of rubber land to palm oil are: economic aspects, social and cultural pressures and access to information and education, 2) factors that have a significant influence on the extent of the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil are the area of rubber land, palm oil income, and palm oil production costs while the factors that have a negative influence are the variables of age, farming experience, number of family dependents, education is also a factor that does not affect the extent of the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil, 3) the social, economic and environmental impacts due to carrying out the commodity transition from rubber to palm oil in Guci Village are in the medium category.
