The data on the interest in the Mathematics program at FMIPA, Non-Mathematics programs at FMIPA, and the Mathematics program at FKIP at Sriwijaya University over the past five years shows a decline in the number of applicants. This study aims to develop a moodel and identify the factors influencing the decrease in interest in selecting the Mathematics program at FMIPA, Non-Mathematics programs at FMIPA, and the Mathematics program at FKIP using the Multinomial Logistic Regression method. The multinomial logistic regression model obtained from this study is π_1 (x)=(〖exp⁡g〗_1 (x))/(1+expg_1 (x)++expg_2 (x)),π_2 (x)=(〖exp⁡g〗_2 (x))/(1+expg_1 (x)++expg_2 (x)),π_3 (x)=1-P1-P2, dengan nilai g_1 (x)=-1,607+1,940x_2 (1)-0,186x_2 (2)+0,039x_5 (1)+0,320x_5 (2)+1,246x_6 (1)+0,616x_6 (2)+1,437x_7 (1)+1,980x_7 (2)-3,727x_9 (1)-0,770x_9 (2)+0,918x_10 (1)0,447x_10 (2)+0,317x_14 (1)-0,673x_14 (2)+0,017x_15 (1)+0,116x_15 (2) dan nilai g_2 (x)=1,719-0,683x_2 (1)-0,490x_2 (2)+2,148x_5 (1)+1,680x_5 (2)+0,771x_6 (1)-1,062x_6 (2)+2,116x_7 (1)+2,468x_7 (2)+0,510x_9 (1)+0,094x_9 (2)-2,594x_10 (1)0,787x_10 (2)-2,347x_14 (1)-0,424x_14 (2)-0,294x_15 (1)1,510x_15 (2). The factors influencing the selection of study programs are learning motivation〖(X〗_2), enjoyment of mathematics〖(X〗_5), family environment(X_6), peers〖(X〗_7), program branding〖(X〗_9), alumni〖(X〗_10), campus environment〖(X〗_14), and education costs〖(X〗_15). The model's classification accuracy is 81.8%, indicating that the model is effective in making predictions.
