PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK MIKRO SENG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL PADI (Oryza sativa L.) VARIETAS CILIWUNG DI BELITANG BK XIV SUMATERA SELATAN
This research aims to analyze the effect of applying Zinc (Zn) microfertilizer on the growth and yield of Ciliwung rice varieties. Providing microfertilizers can help increase the efficiency of nutrient use and support optimal physiological processes. This research was carried out in technically irrigated rice fields in Belitang, while soil analysis was carried out at Sampoerna Agro Laboratory. The research method used a rendomized completely block design, consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments used in this study were Z0 = 0 kg/ha as control, Z1 = 8 kg/ha, Z2 = 16 kg/ha and Z3 = 32 kg/ha. Parameters observed included plant height, total number of tillers, number of productive tillers, panicle length, leaf length, weight of 1000 grains, number of grains, weight of grainy grain and weight of empty grain. The results showed that the application of Zn microfertilizer at a certain dose significantly increased vegetative growth and yield of Ciliwung rice varieties compared to treatment without fertilization. The Zn microfertilizer dose of 8 kg/ha gave the highest results on growth, total number of tillers, number of productive tillers, weight of 1000 grains, weight of rice grains, but did not have a significant effect on increasing rice production yields. Meanwhile, the highest increase in rice yield was obtained with micro Zn fertilization at a dose of 16 kg/ha. The Zn content was significantly different between Zn 0 kg/ha and the Zn dose treatment, but each dose treatment was not significantly different. Overall, the application of Zn microfertilizer has proven to be effective in increasing rice yields, as one solution for increasing agricultural productivity in a sustainable manner.
