This study aims to know and see the gender problems faced by women with widow status in Kebun Bunga Village, Sukarami District, Palembang. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. This research uses the concept of gender injustice from Mansour Fakih. The results showed that widowed women in Kebun Bunga Village, Sukarami District, Palembang experienced gender injustice which became a problem for widowed women in living their lives. First, widows experience marginalization impoverishment in terms of work, namely difficulty finding work and also socializing in community life. Second, stereotyping or labeling as an itchy widow, destroyer of other people's households, usurper of people's husbands, infidelity, Mistress, a seductive woman, is easy to be tempted, and can also be paid. Third, subordination where widows are always ostracized or considered inferior to widower status. Fourth, there are two types of violence, namely physical and non-physical where the violence of the widowed woman can be not from her family but the community living around her, for example the parents of a man who comes to slap, curse, scold, grab the widow for reasons of not agreeing with her child dealing with widows because they have influenced their children, besides that there are other problems in this study such as online gender based non-physical violence where widows get dark WhatsApp, sent pornographic videos so that the woman feels provoked. Fifth, the double burden is that widows take care of children and then work to earn a living with various jobs, selling, opening stalls and being a household assistant from morning to evening as well as a domestic assistant from morning to evening as well as housekeepers with many doors mean from house to house.
