POLA KOMUNIKASI ANTARA GURU DAN MURID TULI DI KELAS X SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA NEGERI LAHAT
Communication is a form of speaking activity carried out by every human being in daily activities ranging from social society, education, work environment, relationships and so on. Many factors hinder communication, one of which is obstacles that come from physical origin, for example communication in deaf people. Hearing limitations do not prevent the formation of communication between teachers and deaf students in the teaching and learning process, so this study aims to determine how the communication patterns that occur between teachers and deaf students in Class X of Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Lahat in the teaching and learning process. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data found through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the forms of communication that occur between teachers and deaf students, namely verbal and nonverbal forms of communication. Teachers also apply interpersonal communication by communicating directly and face to face. The communication pattern that Class X of Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Lahat applies when the communication pattern is One-way Communication (Action), Two-way Communication (Interaction), Many-way Communication (Transaction).
