KEMAMPUAN PEMBUKTIAN MATEMATIS SISWA MATERI LOGARITMA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS TEORI APOS
Mathematical proof is a way to ensure that something is true in mathematics by using logic and existing facts. The ability to construct proofs is key to understanding mathematical concepts in depth. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the mathematical proof abilities of high school students using the Toulmin argumentation model. The subjects of this study were 33 students of class X.4 of SMA Negeri 1 Belitang II in the 2024/2025 academic year. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques consisted of a written test consisting of 4 descriptive questions. The results of the students' tests were analyzed using the Toulmin argumentation model with the indicators used, namely data/evidence, warrant, backing, and claim. The results of the study that had been carried out in class X.4 of SMA Negeri 1 Belitang II obtained students' mathematical proof abilities which were divided into 3 groups, namely 12.12% or 4 students in the high category; 69.69% or 23 students in the medium category; and 18.18% or 6 students are in the low category.
