This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the IA-CEPA (Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) in encouraging exports of Indonesian automotive products to Australia. The theory used in this research is the International Regime Effectiveness Theory coined by Arild Underdal to assess the effectiveness of a regime, whether the regime has achieved its goals and functions effectively and appropriately or even vice versa. The success of the regime will be measured by showing the important aspects in the theory which contain: problem malignancy, problem solving management, output, outcome, and impact of the IA-CEPA cooperation that has been running. Then it is measured using a collaboration scale ranging from 0-5 to see the level of collaboration. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Furthermore, research data was obtained using internet-based secondary sources such as books, articles, journals, and non-numerical data. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the IA-CEPA in encouraging exports of Indonesian automotive products to Australia is effective as seen by problem malignancy that does not exceed the ability of problem solving capacity, then there is a change in behavior from Indonesia to optimize the utilization of IA-CEPA cooperation and has proven the regime has been running in accordance with predetermined rules and the achievement of technical optimum by the IA-CEPA regime with Indonesia's success in prime car exports to Australia in 2022. Then seen from the scale of collaboration, the IA-CEPA regime shows level 4, namely there is coordination, planned actions combined with national level implementation and there is a centralized assessment in the effectiveness of actions.
