UJI ANALGETIK DAN ANTI INFLAMASI EKSTRAK DAN FRAKSI DAUN SEBURO (Garcinia forbesii King.) PADA TIKUS WISTAR JANTAN
The ethanol extract of seburo leaves (Garcinia forbesii King) contains flavonoid, alkaloid, phenolic, saponin and steroid compounds which are potentially active as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the extract as well as the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of the ethanol extract and fractions with different solvent polarities from seburo leaves based on the reduction in rat writhing from 0.6% v/v acetic acid induction and the reduction in edema volume from 1% w/v carrageenan induction. The results of the percent analgesic value for the positive control were 71.955%, ethyl acetate was 69.230, Ethanol Extract was 50.506, N-hexane was 14.102 and water ethanol was 7.692. The percent inhibition value of positive control was 73.44%, ethyl acetate was 64.10%, ethanol extract was 56.18%, N-hexane was 44.63%. This shows that the ethyl acetate fraction is the most active and optimal as an analgesic and antiinflammatory and the resulting effect is equivalent to the positive control Na diclofenac treatment (p>0.05). Measurements were carried out using the writhing test and rat paw edema method on 24 male white Wistar rats divided into 6 treatment groups. Group I as a negative control was given Na CMC 1%, group II as a positive control was given Na diclofenac, and groups III, IV, V, and VI as test groups were given the same dose of 200 mg/kgBW with different solvent polarities, ethanol extract, n-hexane fraction, ethyl acetate fraction, and ethanol-water fraction. Key Words : Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, Garcinia forbesii King, rat paw edema, writhing test
