This study aims to evaluate production growth and segregation, Conduct negative selection of plants that have poor and deviant growth (off type). The study was conducted in agricultural land on Jalan Tamyiz, Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency from June-September 2024. This study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of four accessions, namely Unsri J1-UU, J3-U, J1-UK and J1-KU. On a planting area of 12 x 15 m, each accession was assigned 4 groups consisting of 40 sample plants so that there were a total of 120 sample plants per experimental unit. The results showed that the highest height of purple corn plants was in the Unsri J3-U accession with an average of 209.3 cm, the highest cob height was in the Unsri J3-U accession with an average of 57.83 cm, the fastest male flowering age was at 56 HST, the fastest female flowering age was in the Unsri J1-UK accession, the highest cob length was in the J1-UK accession with an average of 15.79 cm, the longest cob diameter was in the Unsri J1-UU accession with an average of 3.48 cm, the heaviest seed weight per cob was in the J1-UU accession with an average of 57.5 g, the highest number of seeds per cob was in the J1-UU accession with an average of 303.3 g. Plant selection on accessions J1-UU, J3-U, and J1-KU had the same percentage, namely 6.6%. Segregation of Unsri J1-UU, J3-U, J1-UK, J1-KU accession plants showed varying results. Segregation of stem color 13%-20%, cob color showed 41.37%-53.3%, seed color showed 41%-56%, weight of 100 seeds showed an average of 13.37-17.90 g. Seed production of J1-UU accession had the largest number of purple seeds of 4,832 grains. The heritability value calculated on plant height 61 HST was 68.91%, male flowering age 23.09%, female flowering age 76.23%, cob length 57.12%, seed weight per cob 34.32%, and number of seeds per cob 49.15%.
