The purpose of this research is to find out the social economic changes of the perpetrators and the impact on the families and communities of Ujung Tanjung Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses the concept of social change by Selo Somardjan. The results of this study explain that there are social economic changes in Tipsani (Scam Here and There) perpetrators including negative stereotyped social values in society, improved economic life values in fulfilling primary, secondary, and tertiary needs, wasteful attitudes for lifestyle satisfaction, and consumptive behavior in friendship groups. The impact of social economic changes on the perpetrator's family includes the value of social life that is valued in society, the value of economic life improves in fulfilling primary, secondary, and tertiary needs, arrogant and individualistic attitudes, and the behavior of choosing a social group in community relations. And the impact of social economic changes on the Ujung Tanjung village community includes changes in the value of social life in typical urban environmental conditions, the value of economic life in relatively large business income, and the behavior of imitating the Tipsani (Scam Here and There) lifestyle.
