Food diversity and nutritional status are important factors that influence the work productivity of teachers, who are required to have optimal work productivity. This study aims to analyze the relationship between food diversity and nutritional status on the work productivity of teachers at the Yayasan Pendidikan Nurul Yaqin Tanjung Batu. This research used a cross-sectional design with 55 teachers as respondents. Food diversity data were collected using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) and analyzed using the Individual Dietary Diversity Score (IDDS). Nutritional status was measured based on body mass index (BMI), while work productivity was assessed using a validated questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using Pearson Chi-Square test and Spearman Rank test to identify relationships between variables. The univariate results showed that the majority of teachers were in the age range of 20-30 years (60.0%), with more than 5 years of teaching experience (52.7%), 42 permanent teachers (76.4%) and 13 honorary teachers (23.6%), with 34.5% of teachers having low food diversity, 14.5% with poor nutrition, 20.0% with excess nutrition, and 32.7% of teachers being unproductive. The bivariate results showed a significant relationship between food diversity and work productivity (p-value = 0.036). Meanwhile, there was no significant relationship between nutritional status and work productivity (p-value = 0.054). This study concludes that food diversity and nutritional status play an important role in determining teachers' work productivity, particularly in terms of their eating patterns and nutritional status as part of efforts to improve performance. Therefore, interventions in the form of dietary improvements are needed to enhance food diversity and nutritional status among teachers, which can support optimal work productivity.
