KUALITAS PELAYANAN KENAIKAN PANGKAT PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL FUNGSIONAL GURU DI KOTA PALEMBANG DI BADAN KEPEGAWAIAN DAERAH PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This research was motivated by the research of Indah Tri Handayani entitled Quality of Service for Civil Servant Promotion by the Regional Civil Service Agency of Gunung Mas Regency. The theory used is the theory of service quality according to Vincent Gaspersz which consists of six dimensions, namely accuracy in service, accuracy of service, politeness and friendliness, responsibility, convenience, and variations in service models. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach, with the data collection technique is a questionnaire that is distributed to respondents, in this case the civil servant teachers who proposed promotion of 73 respondents. The results of this study are the same as previous research which shows that the service process for promotion of the rank of teacher civil servants in Palembang City at the Regional Personnel Board of South Sumatra Province is generally quite good with an average score of 284 based on the Likert scale used with a score range of 1 - 5 it's just that on several indicators, namely, indicators of timeliness of the promotion process, indicators of decrees that are issued clearly avoid errors, employee indicators are good at complaints addressed, and employee indicators are good at running the service process is still not optimal. In this study, the author suggest to the Regional Civil Service Agency that there is a need for an increase in service quality and improvements in the issuance of a decision letter.
