ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PROTEKSIONISME INDONESIA TERHADAP IMPOR PAKAIAN BEKAS DARI KOREA SELATAN
This illegal trade in imported clothing is included in international crimes or transnational organized crimes (TOC) committed by individuals or groups who want to make huge profits in importing used clothes illegally. This study aims to analyze Indonesia's Protectionism Factors Against Used Clothing Imports from South Korea, seeing that this thrifting trend also causes many losses for the country, especially in terms of economy. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques with literature studies. The theory of protectionism according to (Luca Ferrini) is a concept in economics that refers to economic practice or policy and economists even attempt to explain it in scientific terms, through theories such as the law of comparative advantage. The results of this study show that the factors causing protectionism are based on the fundamental belief that state interests are not in line with global income maximization, In this view the state is more concerned with relative profit than absolute profit and the state is concerned with national security, so it has an interest in maintaining domestic industry, protecting nascent industries, and increasing production and employment domestic.
