ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PENGALAMAN PENGGUNA PADA APLIKASI WHATSAPP DAN LINE MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ) PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Instant messaging apps have become an important part of students daily lives in the digital era, including at Sriwijaya University. WhatsApp and LINE are two popular applications used to communicate, both personally and in groups. This study aims to analyze the user comparison between WhatsApp and LINE among Sriwijaya University students. The population of this research is WhatsApp or LINE application users with the sampling technique, namely Non Probability-Sampling, using Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using UEQ Data Analysis Tools. The results of this study indicate that LINE is superior in all aspects of the variable from WhatsApp. On LINE, the mean value refers to variables, namely 2.24 attractiveness, 1.99 efficiency, 2.10 Perspicuity, 2.03 dependability, 1.99 stimulation with the category “excellent”, 1.06 novelty with the category “good”. While WhatsApp obtained mean values referring to variables, namely 1.90 attractiveness, 2.11 Perspicuity in the “excellent” category, 1.87 efficiency, 1.53 dependability, 1.37 stimulation in the “good” category and 0.18 novelty in the “below average” category.
