The implementation of Analog Switch Off policy on 2 november 2022 had sparked both positive and negative responses around the public in Indonesia, especially among the older generation. The presence of disinformation content circulating on Facebook, was the one of the main reasons the emergence of negative responses within public. This research aims to understand how Generation X perceives disinformation content regarding the ASO policy on Facebook in the residents of East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. Data for this research was collected through survey and documentation, using a quantitative descriptive research method. The research also using the Hypodermic Needle Theory as a measure of the research variables. The results of the research indicate that the perception of Generation X regarding disinformation content about the ASO policy on Facebook among the residents of East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City, is portrayed as negative or, the conclusion of this research indicate the subjects in study were not believed or accepted disinformation content regarding the ASO policy circulating on Facebook. The research results also reject the statements of the theory used in the study.
