IIeat treatment is a process in which a metal experiencecl a warming that aims to harden or soften the metal. The heat treatment process consists of normalizing, quenching, anealing and tampering. The heat treatment process used to obtain better material than the material before being subjected to heat. The heat treatment process used in this research is the use of heat treatment process of normalizing and quenching with water quench cooling fluid and oil. After experiencing material normalizing heat treatment and water quenching oil, some tests include tensile testing,, hardness testing as well as testing the micro structure which differentiale between water and used oil quenching media and materials that do not heat treatment.
