Qatar is a country with a high GDP due to its hydrocarbon sector, but gradually this sector is experiencing revenue instability plus the demand for crude oil is decreasing due to the presence of renewable energy. This prompted Qatar to diversify its economy into the tourism sector. Qatar uses its 2022 World Cup host status to introduce tourism. This research is a descriptive qualitative research and uses the concept of sports diplomacy with 4 dimensions. Qatar demonstrates its ability to host prestigious global events by accelerating its development in the fields of sports, tourism and cultural infrastructure as a form of image bulding. Building a platform for dialouge Qatar aims to foster international relations and increase understanding and cooperation among diverse cultures and countries. Trust Building Qatar's commitment to host the World Cup with integrity and transparency. Qatar uses media to build trust Reconciliation, in conducting Reconciliation, Integration, and Anti-racism Qatar's involvement in sports diplomacy was instrumental in resolving diplomatic confrontations and fostering reconciliation among Gulf countries. Overall, the organization of the 2022 World Cup has had a positive impact on Qatar's tourism industry. It has attracted more tourists, stimulated infrastructure development, and generated economic benefits.
