PENGARUH VARIASI DIAMETER DAN PANJANG KOLOM BATU SEMEN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN DAYA DUKUNG PONDASI PADA TANAH GAMBUT
Soil plays an important role in the construction sector, including peat soil. Peat soil has poor behavior in construction due to its high air content, soil compressibility, and organic matter content, as well as low bearing capacity and shear strength values. The soil reinforcement method in the form of stone columns with a combination of cement as a binder is carried out with the aim of increasing bearing capacity. Variations in diameter and length are used as a benchmark for the efficiency of column reinforcement sizes. Reinforcement in the form of a single column with the same diameter variation, namely 4.2 cm and a height of 35 cm; 40 cm; 45 cm, and a diameter of 4.2 cm; 4.8 cm; 6.0 cm at the same length of 30 cm. The study was conducted on a laboratory scale in a test tank to produce Qu values, BCR (Bearing Capacity Ratio), and the percentage increase in BCR. The maximum BCR value was obtained in column variation D1 (d 6.0 cm; P 30 cm) with the largest d/L ratio of 0.2 producing a value of 4.761 (Tangent Intersection), and 3.978 (Mazurkiewicz). The minimum value occurred in the column with the smallest d/L ratio of 0.093 in column variation L3 (d 4.2 cm; P 45 cm) with a BCR value of 2.646 (Tangent Intersection), and 2.449 (Mazurkiewicz). The increase in the value of bearing capacity, BCR and the percentage of BCR value in each analysis method is directly proportional to the increase in the value of the d/L ratio used.
