PERAN LEISURE SATISFACTION TERHADAP MARITAL WELL-BEING PADA PEREMPUAN GENERASI SANDWICH
The sandwich generation is increasing as more individuals aged 40-65 take on the dual responsibility of caring for both their children and aging parents. Women in this generation face layered burdens as wives, mothers, workers, and caregivers. This situation triggers emotional stress and marital conflict, which impacts their marital well-being. This study aims to determine whether leisure satisfaction plays a role in marital well-being among women in the sandwich generation. The subjects of this research were 155 women from the sandwich generation, selected using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected using scales for mental toughness and leisure satisfaction developed by the researchers. Simple regression analysis results showed that leisure satisfaction and marital well-being had a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with an R value of 0.619. These findings indicate that leisure satisfaction contributes to marital well-being. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this study is supported. The effective contribution test for leisure satisfaction revealed a 39,2% contribution to marital well-being among women in the sandwich generation.
