PEMBERDAYAAN ANGGOTA PKK (PEMBERDAYAAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA) MELALUI PENGELOLAAN BUDIDAYA TOGA (TANAMAN OBAT KELUARGA) DI KELURAHAN SUKODADI
Empowerment of members in a social group is an effort to make its members empowered through learning efforts so that they are able to manage and be responsible for a program to improve the quality and quantity of the group. Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is a community organization formed by the government which aims to empower women to participate in Indonesia's development. One of the programs that provides a means of empowering PKK members, namely managing Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA), is an activity that includes the tasks of POKJA 3 and POKJA 4 as a means of empowering TP-PKK members in Sukodadi Village. Family medicinal plants (TOGA) are home-grown plants that have medicinal properties. The research problem discusses knowledge of TOGA types, use of TOGA, and independent practice of managing TOGA cultivation. The aim of this research is to analyze and understand the Empowerment of PKK Members through TOGA Cultivation Management in Sukodadi Village. Using descriptive qualitative research methods with Jim Ife's empowerment theory and using data collection techniques, observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using technical triangulation and the data was analyzed using six steps from Creswell (2016), the result was that PKK members had knowledge about various types of TOGA after receiving counseling. Benefits of managing TOGA cultivation as an ingredient for daily medicines and as a herbal drink.
