This research aims to determine the problems that exist in the management of the Kampung Air and Bungalow tourist destination on Kemaro Island, Palembang City. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses primary data collection methods originating from interviews and direct observation, as well as secondary data collection from the results of literature studies that are relevant to the problem. The results of the research show that the Palembang City Tourism Office has planned the revitalization of destination facilities and infrastructure, promotion of tourism, development of the creative economy, improvement of tourism human resources, cooperation between business and industrial actors, and realizing Sapta Pesona. However, implementation is still experiencing problems due to a lack of maintenance personnel, accessibility problems, and the Sapta Pesona aspect has not yet been realized. These obstacles are caused by organizational problems, especially in the management of officers, which have an impact on the implementation, supervision, maintenance and security of tourist destinations. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to optimize facility improvements, increase accessibility, sustainable marketing and promotion, adequate budget allocation, and strengthen public awareness of tourism and charm at tourist destinations.
