PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN KETERAMPILAN PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PERMAINAN SMALL-SIDED GAMES DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BOLA BASKET
Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of small-sided games training on skills and motivation in students of SMPN 3 Palembang. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample used was 30 students. Data analysis used a t-test with a significance level of 5% (0.05). The treatment in this study was small-sided games training for 3 weeks with a frequency of 1 time a week. The results of the pretest passing test obtained a maximum score of 41, a minimum score of 27 and an average of 35.47, while the posttest passing test data obtained a maximum score of 42, a minimum score of 28 and an average of 36.30 with an average increase of 0.83. while the comparison of the pretest the highest number of shooting is 22 and the lowest number of shooting is 12. the posttest data the highest number of shooting is 23 and the lowest number of shooting is 13 and the average of the pretest is 17.5 and the posttest is 18.1 so that the difference between the pretest and posttest is 0.6. This indicates that there is an increase in skills before and after being given treatment. The results of the study obtained that simultaneously between skills and motivation significantly with PJOK learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of the analysis which obtained the price of Fcount = 18.53 ≥ Ftable 5.26. The multiple correlation r between the independent and dependent variables has a moderate correlation, this can be seen from the calculation results of 0.892 included in the category of good relationship level. In accordance with the results of the study, it can be concluded that; first, there is an influence of Small-Side Games training on motivation.
