STRATEGI NAFKAH PETANI RAWA LEBAK DESA IBUL BESAR I KECAMATAN PEMULUTAN INDUK KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
This research aims to determine the livelihood strategies and obstacles faced by lowland swamp farmers in Ibul Besar I Village, Pemulutan Main District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. The research results were obtained through primary data in the form of observations, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research uses Ellis's theory (2000) which explains farmers' livelihood earning strategies which are divided into three types, namely the on-farm income sector, the off-farm income sector, and the non-farm income sector. The results of the research show that there are several livelihood strategies carried out by Swamp Lebak farmers after post-harvest, namely when viewed from the on-farm income sector, they are gardening, agricultural laborers and plantation laborers; the off farm income sector is fishing and livestock farming; The non-farm income sector is mining workers and construction workers. The obstacles for Rawa Lebak farmers include not having permanent work after harvest, pests, not being united between one farmer and another, unpredictable weather, and fires.
