ANALISIS MOTIF OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE (ODA) JEPANG KE SUB SAHARA AFRIKA
ODA is one of the assistance instruments provided by a country to developing countries in its efforts to deal with and improve the quality of the economy and the quality of life of citizens of developing countries. Japan is one of the countries that uses ODA as a foreign instrument, this is done by Japan to be able to contribute to global problems. Sub-Saharan Africa itself is a region in Africa that is generally dominated by countries ranging from lower middle income and lower income. The problems faced by Sub-Saharan African countries often overwhelm countries in the region, ranging from climate, disease, economic and social issues, as well as conflict. This research attempts to describe what sectors Japan provides to countries in the Sub-Saharan Africa region and determine Japan's motives or interests in providing ODA to Sub-Saharan Africa. The research results show that Japan has two interests in providing ODA to Sub-Saharan Africa, namely economic interests and political interests and each country has different economic interests and political interests.
