This research discusses statistical problems in the case of comparing weather elements in Dempo Tengah and Tanjung Sakti Pumi sub-districts from 2021 to 2022 with coffee production in the both sub-districts on 2022 to 2023. Weather is the state or behavior of the atmosphere at a certain time which changes from time to time. Coffee is one of the leading commodities in the plantation sector that plays an important role in the economy in Indonesia. The weather elements data used was secondary data consisting of 10 variables in daily time. The purpose of this study is to apply the mean difference test and variance ratio test to the comparison of weather elements between Dempo Tengah and Tanjung Sakti Pumi sub-districts. The mean values of weather elements in both sub-districts in 2022 which significantly different from the mean values of weather elements in 2021. Include temperature, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, rainfall coverrage, wind direction, and cloud cover. Overall, almost all weather elements in each district in 2022 were more variance than in 2021, except for minimum temperature Tanjung Sakti Pumi sub-district. Coffee production in Dempo Tengah sub-district in 2023 increased considerably compared to 2022. Weather elements can also affect coffee production. Meanwhile, coffee production in Tanjung Sakti Pumi sub-district tends to remain the same in 2022 and 2023 even though the weather elements in these districts are significantly different.
