The UUJN stipulates that not only the Honorary Council but also the Supervisory Board has the authority to examine alleged violations of the code of ethics and impose sanctions on the code of ethics, but there are differences in the mechanism between the two. This research is normative legal research with the source of research material in the form of secondary data collected through literature study, using deductive conclusion drawing techniques. The results of this research show that each implementing element of the Honorary Council (DKD/DKW/DPP) can carry out inspections after complaints from members of associations/other people (the community), including after discovering facts of alleged violations on their own initiative. In contrast to the Supervisory Board with the MPD and MPW implementing elements, it carries out inspections passively, in the sense that it only conducts limited inspections after receiving complaints from the public, without taking its own initiative to find facts of alleged violations. Each implementing element of the Honorary Council, namely DKD, DKW, and DPP, can impose sanctions in the form of a reprimand, warning, temporary dismissal from Association membership, honorable dismissal from Association membership, or dishonorable dismissal from Association membership. In contrast to the Supervisory Board, the implementing elements of the MPD do not impose sanctions, but the MPW imposes sanctions which are limited to verbal or written warnings, and the MPP imposes a temporary dismissal sanction of 3-6 months based on the MPW's proposal, while the sanction of honorable or dishonorable dismissal is imposed by the Minister on the MPP's proposal.
