METAFORA DALAM ALBUM "UNTUK DUNIA, CINTA, DAN KOTORNYA" KARYA NADIN AMIZAH SERTA IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
This research aims to identify and analyze the use of metaphor in the song lyrics on the album "For the World, Love, and Dirty" by Nadin Amizah, as well as examine its implications for learning Indonesian. This research uses the conceptual metaphor theory of George Lakoff and Mark Johnson, which divides metaphors into three types: structural, orientational, and ontological metaphors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a stylistic approach, which focuses on the description and interpretation of data from the 11 songs on the album. The research results show that the lyrics in this album are rich in metaphors that describe emotional experiences, life values, and the process of personal growth. The types of metaphors found help listeners to understand abstract concepts through comparison with concrete things. Apart from that, this research found that the use of metaphors in song lyrics can be applied as a medium for learning Indonesian, especially in learning poetry. With a contextual and creative approach, students can be invited to understand and create literary works that use metaphorical language styles. This research makes significant contributions to linguistic and educational studies, especially in utilizing popular culture content to increase students' understanding of language style and meaning in works of art. It is hoped that the implications of this research can enrich Indonesian language learning strategies that are more relevant and interesting. Key words: Lakoff and Johnson's conceptual metaphor, Nadin Amizah, song lyrics, Indonesian language learnin
