This research is entitled "Implementation of Government Policy in Waste Management in Traditional Markets, Sekayu District, Musi Banyuasin Regency". Waste management at Sekayu Market is a government policy in managing waste so that it does not accumulate and the waste is not scattered because of the garbage in the Sekayu market. This study aims to identify government policies in waste management at the Sekayu District market, Musi Banyuasin Regency so that the waste in the market can be picked up according to schedule so that waste does not accumulate and does not cause bad odors, and so that people in the market can interact comfortably. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using George C. Edward III's policy implementation theory which states that to see a policy is influenced by four factors, namely, Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of waste management has been running well and structured, but it is still lacking in terms of transportation, namely there is only one garbage truck for Sekayu sub-district Musi banyuasin.
