Anti-hero music video is a music video that tells about the mental health of a musician from the United States. Taylor Swift displays behavioral traits that could suggest some mental disorder in the music video that accompanies the anti-hero song. The focus of this study is to dissect the cutscenes contained in the anti-hero music video which are considered to represent mental health issues using Roland Barthes' semiotics, the two orders of signification consisting of denotation and connotation and then the results will be analyzed using self-actualization theory where this theory has several points that can describe mentally healthy individuals. The results of this study are that there are 5 scenes that represent mental health issues in the anti-hero music video. The mental disorders described in this music video by the main character include trauma due to stress, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, and depression. It is hoped that the data identified in this analysis will help readers to be more aware of mental disorders in themselves and those around them.
