A worker's portrait is a picture that shows the reality of the worker's life regarding ongoing daily activities. These daily activities can refer to work, daily routine activities, or the role of workers in their daily lives. The portraits of workers analyzed in this research relate to the reality of the lives of PO Elang Sederhana workers, Sako Baru Village, Sako District, Palembang City, both male and female workers. This research focuses on the gender roles of male and female workers which can be understood through the daily routine activities carried out by workers. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study research strategy and is analyzed using the Harvard framework (1985). The results of this research show that: (1) the daily activities carried out by male and female PO Elang Sederhana workers are productive, reproductive and social. (2) The gender roles of male and female workers are divided into productive, reproductive and social divisions. (3) The background of male and female workers consists of four, namely economic and demographic for productive activities, community norms or social hierarchy for reproductive activities, and the institutional structure of the neighborhood association for social activities.
