One Belt, One Road is an Ancient Silk Road revived by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013. This initiative is a major initiative of China to expand its trade routes to other countries, especially trade routes to the European region. Under Jokowi's leadership, Indonesia has become one of China's strategic partners in the OBOR initiative, Indonesia's involvement in the OBOR initiative is utilized by Indonesia itself to achieve its national interests in developing economic cooperation, investment between Indonesia and China, and accelerating infrastructure development in Indonesia. In this topic, the researcher will analyze the national interests achieved by Indonesia in the OBOR initiative. The method that will be used in this research is through qualitative data that is descriptive in nature by using the concept of national interest according to Joseph Nye, which is will describe national interests achieved by Indonesia in the OBOR initiative. The result of this research, which is based on the concept of national interest concludes that there is a national interest achieved by Indonesia through infrastructure development project in the OBOR initiative cooperation that accelerates infrastructure development in Indonesia, increases economic opportunities for Indonesian people, facilitates connectivity between regions in Indonesia and encourages investment opportunities. With the achievement of this national interest, OBOR is also has a negative impact on Indonesia with the massive influx of foreign workers and the increase in the state debt cause by infrastructure development.
