Foreigner traffic regulations during a pandemic, especially in West Sumatra, play an important role in controlling the movement of foreign nationals and controlling the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The policies implemented in regulating the traffic of foreigners to foreign nationals who will come or have already been in Indonesia. Using a qualitative research method in which any data obtained comes from books, documents, and official and valid data comes from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The results of this study explain the strategy implemented by the TPI Padang Class 1 Immigration Office in regulating the traffic of foreigners in West Sumatra during the pandemic and through the policies implemented in the process of regulating the traffic of foreigners and reducing the number of cases due to the Covid-19 virus. This regulation is very effective because it is evident from the existing data regarding the traffic of foreigners and its significance for the number of cases related to Covid-19.
