The problem in this research is to find out aspects related to community participation in the activities of establishing the Al Fatah Li Miftahil Falah tahfidz house in Purwosari Village, Makarti Jaya District, Banyuasin Regency, so this research aims to find out the forms of community participation in establishing the tahfidz house and find out the reasons why the community participated in the establishment of the Al Fatah Li Mifahil Falah tahfidz house in Purwosari Village, Makarti Jaya District, Banyuasin Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Determining informants used the purposive method. The findings were obtained through primary data in the form of observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. This research uses Adrian Tawai’s theory in his book entitled Community Participation in Development. The research results show that community participation in the establishment of the Community Participation in Development. Fatah Li Miftahil Falah tahfidz house is said to be quite good, community participation plays an important role in the establishment of this tahfidz house. The forms of community participation in establishing a tahfidz house are participation in decision-making, participation in implementation, participation in utilization, and participation in evaluation. Furthermore, the reasons for community participation are community education, community income, community awareness as Muslims, and the role of the Tahfidz house in encouraging or inviting the community.
