KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL PENGAMEN ANGKLUNG JALANAN DI LAMPU MERAH WAY HALIM KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG
The purpose of this research is to find out the socio-economic life and factors that cause angklung buskers to work as angklung buskers at Way Halim Red Light in Bandar Lampung City. By using James S. Coleman's rational choice theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method Data collection techniques through interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The research location is at the Red Light Intersection between Jalan Sultan Agung and Jalan Kimaja, Way Halim District, Bandar Lampung. The results showed that in the aspect of social life that the relationship between street angklung singers and workers at the Way Halim Red Light in Bandar Lampung City is like a friend of one fate. The beggars, the surrounding community, and other road users greet each other familiarly when they meet each other. The pengamen anngklung also protect each other. In the economic aspect, the income earned from being an angklung busker is uncertain but angklung buskers have no other choice due to the difficulty of finding a job with the educational diploma they have. The factors that cause street angklung buskers to work at Way Halim Red Light in Bandar Lampung City are economic needs, environmental factors and educational factors.
