This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Using the E-Voting System in the Village Head Election in Taja Raya II Village, Betung District, Banyuasin Regency and see the factors that affect the effectiveness of the e-Voting system. This research uses Duncan's Theory of Effectiveness Theory (in Richard M. Steers: 1985) with indicators namely Goal Achievement, Integration, and Adaptation. The research method used in this peelitian is a qualitative method using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that the Effectiveness of Using the E-Voting System in the Village Head Election in Taja Raya II Village, Betung District, Banyuasin Regency has been effective, but there are still several indicators that have not met the criteria, that is, there are still errors in the e-Voting tool caused by the heat of the sun and also heat due to devices that have been used for too long, and there are still many candidates for Taja Raya II village head candidates and people who are still a little hesitant about the Pilkades with the E-Voting System showing evidence that there is still uncommon knowledge and trust in e-Voting itself has not been so formed.
