KEBIJAKAN BERBASIS BUKTI (EVIDENCE BASED POLICY) DALAM PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Economic growth is a benchmark for the success of economic development in a region. One way to improve welfare is through economic development, which is a series of activities carried out by the government together with all levels of society to achieve a better life. In addition to the state of growth in Palembang City, the state of poverty also affects income inequality. This study aims to determine the evidence-based policies that have been applied in development planning in Palembang City. This research uses the theory of The Pew Charitable Trust and Mac Arthur Foundation (2014). This type of research is descriptive qualitative research This research was conducted at the Palembang City Development Planning Agency agency. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research analysis, development programs in Palembang City with an evidence-based approach and performance are crucial steps to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of funded programs. With a thorough evaluation and accurate categorization, it is hoped that budget allocation can be more targeted, and development programs can provide greater benefits to the people of Palembang City. The process of monitoring and evaluating poverty programs using quantitative and qualitative indicators, such as poverty reduction, community participation, community satisfaction with services, new jobs, and infrastructure successfully built, helps to understand the impact of the program, comprehensively. Suggestions that can be made to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of development programs in Palembang, City The Palembang City Government must focus on increasing the allocation of funds for development programs that have been proven effective through evidence-based analysis.
