This research is entitled Professionalism of Journalists in Covering News on the online media Sripoks.com. The background of this research is because the researcher wants to see how professional journalists in the bold media Sripoku.com are, seen from the news written by journalists from this media. The aim of this research is to analyze the professionalism of journalists in Sripoku.com in covering news in order to understand the extent to which journalists uphold professionalism in carrying out their duties in the online media environment. The method used is a qualitative method. The research utilizes the theory of professional journalism proposed by Gonjalez and Martin (2022). The results of this research show that journalists in Sripoku.com can be considered professionals, as they have demonstrated a high level of commitment to professionalism in carrying out their journalistic tasks, despite facing challenges in using information from predetermined sources such as time pressure, limited resources, and the pressure to produce commercially appealing news due to news targets and clickbait information. Although there are challenges, journalists in Sripoku.com can be deemed as professional journalists because they have fulfilled several criteria of professional journalism, such as responsibility for freedom in carrying out journalistic tasks, good technical skills, and the use of journalistic ethics in providing factual and balanced information to readers.
